On this day, September 17, 2025, let us turn our hearts and minds to the Word of God and reflect on its wisdom. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, we read, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."
As we consider this verse, let us remember that the Scriptures are not merely a collection of human thoughts, but the very breath of God. They are given to us for our benefit and edification, to teach us, correct us, and train us in righteousness.
In our daily walk, we will face challenges and trials that may cause us to stumble and fall. But the Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). It is a source of strength and guidance, leading us in the way of truth and righteousness.
So, let us turn to the Scriptures daily, meditating on its truths and applying them to our lives. Let us seek the Lord's wisdom and guidance in all that we do, and trust in His promises.
As we go forth into this day, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We pray that You would open our hearts and minds to receive its truths, and that we may be guided in the way of righteousness. Strengthen us in our daily walk, and equip us for every good work. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
