Scripture Reference: Hebrews 13:8 (ESV) - "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we gather in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I am reminded of the unchanging promises of God. In a world that is constantly shifting and changing, it is comforting to know that our God remains steadfast and true. The apostle Paul wrote in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
This verse serves as a reminder that God's promises are not dependent on the circumstances of our lives or the conditions of the world around us. In a world where uncertainty and fear seem to reign, we can find solace in the unchanging nature of our God. His promises are as true today as they were when they were first given to His people.
One of those promises is found in John 14:27 (ESV), where Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." In a world that is filled with turmoil and fear, we can find peace in the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His peace is not dependent on the circumstances of our lives, but rather on His unchanging nature.
Another promise is found in Isaiah 41:10 (ESV), where God says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This promise is as true today as it was when it was first given to the Israelites. God is with us, and He will strengthen us, help us, and uphold us with His righteous right hand.
As we go about our day, let us remember the unchanging promises of God. Let us find comfort in the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Let us trust in His promises, and let us share the peace and hope that we have in Him with those around us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unchanging promises. We thank You that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We ask that You would help us to trust in Your promises and to find peace in Your presence. We ask that You would strengthen us, help us, and uphold us with Your righteous right hand. We pray this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
