My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today, as we gather together in the presence of our Lord, I invite you to meditate on the wisdom found in Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (NIV)

The words of King Solomon remind us that we are not alone in our journey. Our Heavenly Father guides our steps, and in His infinite wisdom, He directs our paths. We must trust in His divine providence, even when the road ahead seems uncertain or filled with challenges.

In times of doubt or confusion, let us remember that our understanding is limited, but God's wisdom is everlasting. By submitting to His will, we allow ourselves to be molded into the people He has called us to be.

Consider the life of our beloved brother in Christ, Charles Spurgeon, who faced many trials and tribulations during his ministry. He once said, "God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we must trust His heart." Spurgeon's words echo the very essence of Proverbs 3:5-6, encouraging us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, even when we cannot see the full picture.

As we journey through this day, let us strive to lean not on our own understanding but to trust in the Lord with all our hearts. May we submit ourselves to His will, knowing that He will make our paths straight.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless love and wisdom. We ask that You guide our steps today and help us to trust in You with all our hearts. Give us the strength and courage to submit to Your will, knowing that You will make our paths straight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
