Today, let us turn our hearts and minds to the Word of God, seeking wisdom and guidance in His holy scriptures. Let us meditate on Psalm 62:5-8, which says, "For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us." (ESV)
In these verses, we are reminded of the steadfast and unchanging nature of our God. He is our rock, our fortress, our salvation, and our refuge. In a world that is ever-changing and often chaotic, we can find peace and security in the knowledge that our God is constant and faithful.
We are also reminded of the importance of trust. The psalmist tells us to "trust in him at all times," and to "pour out our hearts before him." In our daily lives, we face numerous challenges and trials. It is easy to become overwhelmed and to feel as though we are being shaken. But the psalmist reminds us that when we trust in God, we shall not be shaken. Our hope is in Him, and He is our refuge.
So, dear brothers and sisters, let us take heart in these words today. Let us wait in silence for our hope is from Him. Let us trust in Him at all times, pouring out our hearts before Him. And let us remember that our God is our rock, our salvation, and our refuge.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your steadfast love and faithfulness. We praise you for being our rock, our fortress, our salvation, and our refuge.
