Title: The Unchanging Nature of God's Faithfulness
Scripture: "Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." - Psalm 90:2 (NIV)
Dear Beloved,
As we gather today on this 6th day of October, 2025, let us reflect on the unchanging nature of God's faithfulness, which has been evident since the beginning of time.
In Psalm 90:2, we are reminded that before the mountains were born, and before the whole world was brought forth, God was and is and will always be. The everlasting nature of our God is a testament to His faithfulness, which transcends time and space.
Just as the mountains have stood the test of time, so too has God's love and faithfulness towards us. He is our Rock, our Fortress, and our Deliverer (Psalm 18:2). He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
In a world that is constantly changing, where we face uncertainties and challenges, we can find comfort and assurance in God's unchanging nature. His faithfulness is like a compass, guiding us through the storms of life.
As we go about our day, let us remember to trust in God's faithfulness. Let us rest in the assurance that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your everlasting faithfulness. In a world that is constantly changing, You remain the same. Help us to trust in Your unchanging nature, knowing that You are our Rock and our Deliverer. May we find comfort and assurance in Your faithfulness, today and always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
