I greet you with the peace and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ on this day, December 12, 2025. As we continue in our Advent journey, let us turn our hearts and minds to the Scriptures and reflect on the boundless love and faithfulness of our God.
Today, we find encouragement in the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (ESV), which says, "But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one." As we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Savior, we are reminded that our God is faithful and will not abandon us in our time of need. He is our strong tower, our refuge, and our deliverer.
In the midst of trials, temptations, and afflictions, we have the assurance that the Lord is with us and will strengthen us. He will establish our hearts in holiness and guard us against the schemes of the enemy. As we meditate on this truth, let us be filled with gratitude and praise for the faithfulness of our God.
Furthermore, let us remember that our faith is not in vain, for the Lord has promised to complete the good work He has begun in us (Philippians 1:6). We can trust in His faithfulness, knowing that He will bring us to completion in Christ. As we wait for His return, let us remain steadfast in our faith, hope, and love.
In closing, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and love towards us. We are grateful for the promise that You will establish us and guard us against the evil one. Help us to trust in Your faithfulness and to remain steadfast in our faith, hope, and love. May we be filled with gratitude and praise for Your goodness towards us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
