Today, as we gather together in the presence of the Almighty God, I encourage you to meditate on the words of Psalm 90:12, which says, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." As we reflect on the fleeting nature of our time on earth, let us also consider the boundless grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father, who has planned each and every day of our lives with purpose and love.
In the book of Jeremiah 29:11, we read, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This promise serves as a reminder that even in the midst of uncertainty and chaos, God is sovereign and His plans for us are always for our good.
As we go about our daily tasks, let us not forget to seek the wisdom of God in all that we do. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." By surrendering our lives to God, we can be assured that He will direct our steps and guide us towards His perfect will.
Finally, let us remember to be thankful for the countless blessings that God has bestowed upon us. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we are reminded to "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
