Notice Paul says God will strengthen us. We do not strengthen ourselves. Christian growth is not about trying harder or being more disciplined. It is about depending on the faithful One who gives us strength we do not have. When you feel too weak to pray, He is praying for you. When you feel too tired to believe, He holds you fast.
This changes how we face each day. You do not need to muster up faith like it is your job. You need to look to the faithful One who promised to keep you. When temptation comes, you can ask Him for strength because He promised to provide it. When you fail, you can repent because He promised to forgive. Your confidence is not in your performance but in His faithfulness.
Prayer: Lord, we are weak and unfaithful. Thank You that You remain faithful when we are not. Strengthen us today and protect us from the evil one. Keep us trusting in Your promises, not our feelings. Amen.
