Today, as we gather in the presence of our Lord, let us reflect on the power of God's Word. As it is written in Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
The Word of God is not just a collection of words on a page, but a living, active force that has the power to transform our lives. It is through the Word of God that we come to know the truth about ourselves, about the world, and about God Himself. It is through the Word of God that we are convicted of our sin, brought to repentance, and given new life in Christ.
As we read and meditate on the Word of God, let us remember the words of Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Let us allow the Word of God to guide us in all that we do, to lead us in the way of righteousness, and to bring us ever closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of your Word. May it be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, guiding us in all that we do. May we meditate on your Word day and night, allowing it to transform our lives and bring us ever closer to you. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
