Biblical Examples of Justice and Mercy in Ministry Practice
The Bible presents numerous examples of justice and mercy, often intertwined, as essential components of ministry practice. These concepts are not merely abstract theological ideas but are demonstrated through the actions of biblical figures and are expected of believers.
One foundational biblical statement on the relationship between justice and mercy is found in Psalm 85:10, which declares, "Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other" [2]. This verse suggests a harmonious relationship between these divine attributes.
