On the fifth day of creation, God commanded the waters to teem with living creatures and the birds to fly above the earth [11]. The sixth day saw the creation of land animals. Genesis 1:24 records God's command: "Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds."
