God's Providence in the Face of Difficulty and Suffering
God's providence refers to His ongoing preservation and governance of all things, often working through secondary causes [5]. Even in the face of difficulty and suffering, biblical texts and theological traditions affirm God's active involvement and care.
The Bible frequently portrays God as a deliverer and comforter for those experiencing hardship. For instance, Psalm 41:1 states, "Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble" [1]. Similarly, Psalm 103:6 declares that "The Lord gives decisions in righteousness for all who are in trouble" [4].
