Illustrations of God's Good and Perfect Will in Scripture

God's good and perfect will is a central theme in Scripture, illustrated through His character, His works, and His commands. The goodness of God is a fundamental attribute of His character ^{[3, 5]}. He is declared to be great, rich, abundant, satisfying, enduring, and universal in His goodness ^[5]. This goodness is manifested in His actions, such as doing good, supplying temporal wants, providing for the poor, and forgiving sins ^[5].
