Transforming Faith into Authentic Christian Living
Faith, in its fundamental sense, is the mind's persuasion that a statement is true, inherently involving trust [4]. The transformation of this faith into authentic Christian living is often understood as sanctification, a process distinct from mere moral reformation [2].
Sanctification is described as the work of the Holy Spirit, gradually bringing an individual's entire nature under the influence of the new gracious principles implanted during regeneration [2]. This process aims for the perfection of the work initiated at regeneration and encompasses the whole person [2]. The Apostle Paul, in Ephesians, prays that Christ may dwell in believers' hearts through faith, so they might be "rooted and grounded in love" [1].
