Using Science as a Tool for Evangelism and Gospel Sharing
The term "gospel" originates from the Anglo-Saxon "God's spell," meaning "word of God," or "good spell," meaning "good news." It translates the Greek evangelion, signifying a "good message" [3]. This "good message" fundamentally concerns the welcome intelligence of salvation for humanity, as proclaimed by Jesus Christ and his followers [3]. The gospel is described as good tidings of great joy for all people [4]. Evangelism, the act of sharing this gospel, is rooted in the belief that those who discover Jesus find in him a treasure that they are compelled to share with others [15]. Sin is not merely the commission of individual acts but also refers to the corrupt nature inherent in humanity [11].
