What Pleases God as a Child of God Biblically

Being a child of God, in a biblical sense, means entering into a relationship with God through adoption, which is made possible by Christ ^{[10, 16]}. This status is not achieved through human effort or imitation of God's actions, but through God's sovereign act of grace and regeneration ^{[14, 18]}. The New Testament frequently uses the phrase "sons of God" to describe this gracious relationship ^[10].

What pleases God from those who are His children is multifaceted, encompassing obedience, love, and glorifying Him.

Obedience to God's Law and Parents Righteousness, defined as obedience to God's law, is something God loves and looks for ^[9]. This includes attending to parental teaching, honoring parents, and taking care of them ^{[1, 3]}. The example of Christ himself demonstrates obedience, as he was subject to his earthly parents ^[1].
