Who Should Preach the Word of God Biblically

The word of God is to be preached by those whom God has ordained and equipped for this task, namely, ministers of the gospel who have been called and set apart by God for the ministry of the word. Paul writes in Romans 10:14-15 that preaching is a vital aspect of the spread of the gospel, and it is the responsibility of those who have been sent by God to proclaim the message of salvation to all nations. This preaching is not limited to the apostolic era, but is a continuing aspect of the church's ministry, as seen in the ordination and installation of pastors and ministers in Reformed churches.

The preaching of the word of God is a sacred trust, and those who are called to this task must be faithful stewards of the mysteries of God, proclaiming the whole counsel of God without fear or favor. This includes the proclamation of both the law and the gospel, as well as the administration of the sacraments, which are means of grace ordained by God for the nourishment and growth of believers.
